Dine Out for the Cure
The WNY Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure helps recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Dine Out for the Cure, an annual event which raises funds for the battle against breast cancer.
This year’s event will be held at area restaurants on October 21, 2008. Participating restaurants will make a donation on behalf of their patrons that evening, with money raised to support Komen’s grant programs in education, screening and treatment, with funds staying right here in the Western New York community. Representatives from Komen for the Cure will also be on hand to distribute pink lapel ribbons and breast health information to diners at each restaurant.
