Since 2001, the Western New York Affiliate has raised more than $2 million to fund local community-based breast health education, breast cancer screening and treatment programs for the medically underserved.
The Western New York Affiliate of Susan G. Komen is pleased to announce funding in the amount of $350,000 for Community Grants to nine different organizations within the 8 counties of Western New York. A comprehensive community needs assessment, called the Community Profile, is conducted every few years to ensure that funding is directed to non-duplicative programs that address the specific unmet breast health needs of people living in Western New York.

These grants have a tremendous impact on our community. Frequently, the Komen Western New York Affiliate is the primary source of local funding for breast health programs.
All requests for science research funding should be directed to the Komen National's Award and Research Grant Program.
