for Good Breast Health

Breast cancer knows no boundary be it age, gender, socio-economic status, or geographical location. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. The key to survival is early detection.

Be Aware --- Take Action

Make these changes part of your life. You are the cure.

1. Annual mammography beginning at age 40
2. Clinical breast exams at least every three years beginning at age 20 and annually at age 40
3. Monthly breast self-examinations for all women beginning at age 20

Race for the Cure: Race Route Signs

Support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure of WNY with a vibrant, strategically placed 18" x 24" sign along the race route.

Purchase a sign:

  • In honor of a loved one
  • In memory of a loved one
  • To show the support of your business
  • To show the support of your team/family
  • To demonstrate individual support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Race Route Sign

Necessary information is as follows:

Signs are $125. The deadline to reserve Race Route signs is Friday, May 15, 2008.

Signs may be purchased in any of the 3 ways listed below:

  • Click on “Online Registration” link at left and complete the Race Route Signage form (this allows you to pay for the sign)

In order for your sign to be printed you need to email your verbiage to judybabel@komenwny.org

You do not have to be a race participant to purchase a Race Route sign.
